Sponsorship of the 3 youngest children of a Family

Patenschaft für die 3 jüngsten Kinder einer Familie

Some of our members are jointly sponsoring the 3 youngest children of the Afangbédji family.

Our French-Togolese partner association “Lonlon Nyigba – Terre d’Amour“ is also involved in this important sponsorship.

Einige Mitglieder des Vereins haben gemeinsam eine Patenschaft für die 3 jüngsten Kinder der Familie Afangbédji übernommen.

Auch unser französisch-togoischer Partnerverein „Lonlon Nyigba – Terre d’Amour“ ist beteiligt.

 

New Bikes to our 3 sponsored Children  

Fahrräder für unsere 3 Patenkinder 

As part of the sponsorship, we have financed bicycles for the 3 Afangbédji children so they can get e.g. to school and to our office without additional financial support.

Im Rahmen der Patenschaft haben wir den 3 Kindern der Familie Afangbédji Fahrräder finanziert, damit sie ohne zusätzliche finanzielle Mittel z.B. zur Schule oder unserem Büro kommen.

 

Fundraising for the construction of sanitary facilities at Kpadapé  

Spendenaufruf zum Bau von Sanitäranlagen in Kpadapé 

We have started fundraising for the construction of sanitary facilities at a school in the village of Kpadapé. In collaboration with the association “Lonlon Nyigba – Terre d‘Amour“ we aim to raise 10.000€ for the completion of the project.

Zum Bau von Sanitäranlagen an einer Schule im Dorf Kpadapé in Zusammenarbeit mit dem Verein „Lonlon Nyigba – Terre d‘Amour“, haben wir einen Spendenaufruf gestartet. Um das gesamte Projekt umzusetzen, werden 10.000€ benötigt.

Thanks to a fundraiser at the Friedrich Schiller High School Ludwigsburg we were able to contribute 1.000€ to the sanitary facilities construction project.

Dank einer Spendenaktion des Friedrich Schiller Gymnasium Ludwigsburg konnten wir 1.000€ für den Bau der sanitären Anlagen beitragen.

Donation of school supplies and uniforms for the school year 2021/22

For the school year 2021/22 we have donated school supplies and fabric for school uniforms to the orphanages Cador in Lomé and Great Mission International in Kpalimé.

Zu Beginn des Schuljahres 2021/22 haben wir Schulmaterialien und Stoffe für Schuluniformen an die Waisenhäuser Cador in Lomé und Great Mission International in Kpalimé gespendet.

 

Work Camp with volunteers from Togo, Germany and France

The construction work for the sanitary facilities has started with a work camp with volunteers from Togo, Germany, and France.

The people of Kpadapé were invited to watch the movie “The Boy Who Harnessed the Wind” with us, which was followed by a discussion on that someone’s origins don’t need to limit ideas, courage, and dreams.

Die Bewohner von Kpadapé waren eingeladen, sich mit uns den Film „Der Junge, der den Wind einfing“ anzuschauen. Im Anschluss wurde darüber gesprochen, dass die Herkunft eines Menschen nicht Ideen, Mut und Träume bestimmen muss.

The associations SEDO Togo e.V. and Lonlon Nyigba – Terre d’Amour start a cooperation and move into a new joint office in the Adidogomé neighborhood (behind the Lycée Moderne) in Lomé.

Die Vereine SEDO Togo e.V. und Lonlon Nyigba – Terre d’Amour schließen eine Kooperation und beziehen gemeinsam ein neues Büro im Viertel Adidogomé (hinter dem Lycée Moderne) in Lomé.

The new academic year starts in Togo. The 3 sponsored children have been equipped for the new school year.

Das neue Schuljahr beginnt in Togo. Auch die 3 Patenkinder werden für das Schuljahr ausgestattet.
